Feather Icons

Feather is a tightly curated collection of 286 SVG icons created in 2017 by Cole Bemis. Every glyph follows the same strict design language: a 24×24 grid, a 2-pixel stroke, rounded line caps and joins, and a single-color outline. The deliberately limited scope is the whole point — Feather covers the common UI primitives (arrows, navigation, files, social) without sprawling into category-specific symbols, which makes its visual rhythm easier to keep consistent than libraries with thousands of icons. Although development has slowed, Feather remains widely used and is the design ancestor of Lucide, which forked the project to continue active development. For projects where a small, opinionated, instantly-recognizable set is preferable to maximum coverage, Feather still hits the mark cleanly.
